• In non-series news, a collection of short stories my wife and I collaborated to craft has been published by Absey & Co. Called The Seed: Stories from the River's Edge. The book officially launched April 28. A story from the collection, "Iron Horse, Mythic Horn", is available for free.

• My daughter Charlene and I have begun collaborating on a webcomic set in the Ascending Spectrum universe. Check out The Girl and Her Beast... you'll dig it, I'm sure.

Ascending Spectrum is a character-driven science fiction experience created by David Bowles for mature, thoughtful readers. Set several hundred years in the future, this series of novels and peripheral publications charts the crises humanity faces as it heads into what will either be its destruction or the next step in its development. But despite heady philosophical exploration of culture, religion and politics, Ascending Spectrum never loses its focus on the individuals who find themselves in the midst of such upheaval. Drafts of the first two novels are available on this website for those who don't mind reading them as wiki structures. The final versions are available for purchase as eBooks or physical texts. Those of you interested in delving deeper into the Ascending Spectrum universe are welcome to become members. See below for more details.

I have already planned the story out for the six volumes of the D'Angelo Chronicles as well as for the four prequels that make up the The Rift. I will be writing a novel a year. The projected release date for each work is noted in parentheses.
